Why do I have to mash down certain buttons now?
Hi everyone. I've found d recently that the #7 key as well as a few others on my EMX need to basically be mashed down to get a reaction from them. Like the tough sensitivity is all messed up or they're just down right ready to die co pletely. What's going on here? I use the #7 key a LOT as its used to delete patterns. If I don't apply a LOT of pressure to it as well as a few other keys, it won't respond at all. Is there any way to fix this? If it matters this is an older smart media card version of the EMX. Thank you in advance.

Its not that difficult. The hardest part is taking it apart and getting it back together. But don't use that liquid stuff. I have repaired keyboards and electronics for years.
This stuff works great:

He even has a bit of a tut to show how he uses them. I bought some off of him and i have repaired a ton of old buttons/contacts with these things. Much easier to deal with. No mess, no wait time to dry. Works the best.
