Anyone Here Own Or Used A Miss Kitara?

Over the past decade or so I've been playing more guitar than synths but electronic instruments have always been a huge part of my life as a musician. When I saw the Miss Kitara I thought it was made just for me. I've seen videos of it doing some amazing stuff. The thought of getting all sorts of killer has wobbles and wild synth leads while playing them in tune with a guitar fretboard seems like a match made in heaven for me. But is it really all that it appears to be?

Its got a hefty price tag of close to a grand USD which is a bit out of my comfort zone when buying any I strument, let Aline such a niche novelty like the Kitara. Can anyone here speak firsthand on what its like playing one? Is it just too awkward trying to strum a flat LCD monitor? Are the buttons that replace the strings anluxury or a nuisance compared to actual strings ad frets? Is it user friendly or tedious trying to get any kind of good sounds out of it? I'm very interested because my plan was to buy a synth soon but after drying my eyes out starting at videos and info about this Kitara all night, I'm considering buying a used MIDI controller like an AkaiMPK25 for my EMX and buying a Kitara.
