If you need to replace it ensure you get the Korg approved pack.
Korg will replace it free of charge if your keyboard is listed as one of the "faulty battery" ones.

These were FIXED models:-
  • Serial Numbers: 76 key and 61 key.

All Pa3X 76 produced from April 2012 (serial numbers starting from 5108 as the last four digits) plus the following serial numbers for Pa3X 76 fixed before leaving the factory:

Pa3X battery

Post by jwolfe »

I have one of the batteries sent me by Korg to replace what might have been faulty. The replacement doesn't hold a charge in a 24 hour period. Is this normal or should I consider another replacement? Thanks.

Have you tried the wipe battery function - this may reset/restore the power management of the battery.
Also - and you probably already know this - don't confuse the Ram battery with the clock battery. If its your clock that is losing time this has nothing to do with the main Ram battery and its a simple CR2032 button battery.

Reuben,

The wipe battery function did the trick. Totally slipped my mind.

Thanks so much.
