A strange problem with my PA 50 Noise !

My PA 50 has a background faint hum which is noticable when not being played and picked up by recording equipment which is annoying and highly unprofessional. While trying to find the cause of it my electrical meter picks up a current between the keyboard bodywork and the MAINS EARTH wire, reading about 35 mAmps. and the hum gets louder on connecting the meter forthwith. SURELY THERE SHOULD BE NO CHARGE ON THE BODYWORK OF ANY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. Anybody had this problem or can direct me for taking the correct action apart from chucking the thing in the bin as there is no update for SD suitably available. What cables You use?
Sometimes Noise is cost by not using Balanced cable.
