uncompress set

Hi.
I have a friend that only has 128mb (stock) memory in his pa3x and whants me to compress a .SET for him in ordet for him to be able to load it. I have 256mb in mine. Will i be able to reset my pa3x after this process? Is it only to do the factory reset to get the pa3x back?

If you want to compress your SET for your friend and then restore back your previous SET follow this workflow :
- Save Yourset.SET
- Compress your samples (it may last a few hours)
- When finish check Sound/Record/Sample Edit/Info and if your remaining Ram is more than 1398 seconds then your friend
can load this SET in a Pa3X with factory shipped Ram.
- Save this SET as MyFriend.SET
- Though this step doesn't seem to be necessary , follow path
Sound/Record/Sample Edit/ upper screen menu/delete/all samples and moltisamples.
- Load back Yourset.SET
- Done

As all of you know , there is no decompression function in Pa3X , therefore a backup SET is always necessary before
executing compressing function in your Pa3X !
