The Best Piano sounds for M50

Post by remaz »

HI to all.

I am a newbie here, and have to say that i am not particularly satisfied with my new M50 piano sounds.
Is there anything out there that worth the try and can be loaded to M50?
Some better Grand Piano, Steinwey, etc ?

By the way, does anyone has the KORG M50 CUSTOM COMBS BY KORGMAN?
There seems to be a lot of piano sounds in there as i read in his post.

If you do , you can send me it on remaz79@hotmail.com

Thanx

The "default" piano sound in A00 is not that great. You will find better piano programs lower down in Bank-A (explore programs around A022 ~ 023). Also one of the GM banks has a good Acoustic Piano patch. Play around with the effects too - for some cases I felt changing the Reverb preset effect from "Smooth Hall" to "Hall" improves the sound.

As for Korgman, he (Aureo) is a member of this forum, and you can get the Combis by emailing him.

The above link is for Khronos, but Aureo is the same person, so if you ask him for M50 combis, he should be able to send (assuming he still has them).
