Of course you have to criticize , since this is an offer for you and must working properly !
Pedal Fx sound has been taken from German piano (explore it there) , and if it annoys you or is too loud ,
edit that sound and reduce pedal Fx oscillator.
Let me know if you find it hard , due to upload a PCG Update !
Thanks. What I meant was that the pedal fx are triggered by the keys, and not the damper pedal. I would think it should be triggered by the damper pedal.

I would like to try this download out but I'm concerned by the instructions telling me to ignore an error, plus I see this download is packed into EXs format.

To the best of my knowledge only KORG can pack data onto an EXs. So is this some kind of unsigned reversed engineering hack of KORG's EXs package, or is this KORG signed and approved?

If this is an unofficial package, people should know there's a risk. Errors are not something people should be told to ignore.

Not an error James , just OS can't validate this installation that's all !
If you do not like this form , Unpack tar contents and put files in your HD
I made this pack in order to facilitate users not to mess with files management since all are familiar
these days with installer !
Nobody will face issues , I promise :D

This is the right option , but since in keyoff mode there is no assignment only for damper , I left as it is in Kronos pianos preset damper Fx.
I hope to find some free time and create an Amp AMS send to pedal and create a new PCG for this piano !

I see what your doing now when I look inside your files. Very clever, but needless to say I bet this is not approved by KORG. The error is a validation fail because the data is not signed.

Don't you think that this is a completely unnecessary risk? What's wrong with packaging the data the normal way? Your not making it easier for anyone to install. To copy a folder is easy to explain to anyone. Your putting their system at risk and embedding your data using an unofficial unsigned method into a hidden area where the PCM is stored for official EXS expansions.
Nobody will face issues , I promise
I sincerely hope not. It is a risk though to both you and the end user. KORG don't pack their samples into tar either. They use IMG, so you are packing the data using a different method than the people who built your KRONOS intended.

For your own protection your commercial data is probably totally exposed to piracy if all your using are tar files. They can be ripped open in second.

You would be a million times better off simply going to KORG and asking them to sell your libraries on their store or not bothering with making your own EXs files as your not likely able to protect your files at all from being unpacked.

Anyway, thanks for the download. I'll certainly open the tar files and load the data the normal way though.

Sharp.

I always had the impression that you're a skilled programmer and easy to understand that this is just an installer script just to place
the whole library arrangement in your HD , no PCM linux partition is involved , also 7zip gz file is a commonly used format or you prefer
to rename for instance EXsA.tar.gz to EXs.gz ? also easy to do so ... next time ! :D
Do not underestimate my skills and when I say no trace of risk and no OS file system involvement in this script , I mean it , but you all also
have the option to unpack and install it by yourself and then compare required time to see why I packed it this way , also ask 400 users
that already downloaded and installed it.
My commercial packs do not use this form and are much more secure that you can imagine !

Anyway , let's do not spoil my good intention to share a piano that cost me a lot of hours of work of sampling and arranging it
since it's just a button click to un-publish it !

Sure, as I said above I see what your doing. Prior to that I've never look inside KORG's installer file because to be quite honest, l have no interest in trying to create an unapproved installer. Especially one that ends in an error. You can dismiss the error all you like, it's still the wrong way to do things.

I can't comment on that, it's file structure, or where the KRONOS saves it when it tries to accept the install using an method intended only for installing official protected EX's libraries.

Which is why I'm not aware of what is to be expected when the script runs. Neither were you until you tried it.
Do not underestimate my skills and when I say no trace of risk and no OS file system involvement in this script
I'm not underestimating your skills at all. You examined a KORG file and took a chance on this in order to replicate what KORG does rather than you doing what the Manual told you to do. Lucky enough it worked, minus the validation fail.

It looks “cool” to do this, sure, makes you stand out from others on the forum sharing libraries directly. But it's still the wrong way to do it and very much so unofficial.

I'll leave it at that. It's really none of my business anyway as an end user or moderator since there doesn't seem to be any harm in the process or the error.

Kind regards
Sharp.

Thank you for that free one !
the other pianos sounds very nice in demo but
it would be just great to have a kind of playable demo (like all those official ones with fading ) for your pianos pack or may be "limited keyboard range" demo pack

Thanks Anthony for this beautiful Upright-Sound!

Now I have no more reason to strive a bit after a Nord Stage2...

Hey Antony. Not sure if this is normal but I've been trying to download this piano for the past few days using the link in the opening post and I keep getting this message: "Public File Busy".
