Well you can hear the gaps in almost all of the demo material so far. Lets just hope it's because they are running beta software and it will be better in the final product.

Does the Electribe Sampler have all the synth features of the Music Production version as well as all the sampling features?

I'm thinking of getting the Volca Sample to team up with my new EM. Anyone else think these two will be a good team?

Thomann deleted the release date. It has been changed from from 28th November to tba. :( I am afraid this means another delay:

I'm guessing that Thomann got enough preorders for the first shipment. My preorder page still says 28th November.

I'm guessing a lot of people have wishful thinking (including me) and that Korg doesn't have a specific ship date yet :)

The Korg rep in the Sonic State video said they would be shipping around December, that's the only "official" word on shipping so far.

I am not into Marketing, but I strongly doubt that it is senseful to announce a release date like "Fall" which then turns into something very later. Also, I do not get why those Korg-Guys seem to utter a different in release date in every video. Wouldn't it be better to say something like november when it is clear that the product is finsihed at that point, so you can focus your ads and stuff on a peroid before that very date.

Edit: What do you think about that. I read it on the youtube comment section:
There’s a rumor that the sampler OS might be loadable on the synth version, and vice versa – eventually and perhaps.

The guy in the video mentioned early December, which is still part of the Fall season. The last day of Fall usually lands on December 21st/22nd.

As I wrote before, it seems that Korg's marketing/sales guys want it available for Christmas, which is prime retail season. So they had to announce before it was ready to ship.

Déjà vu : from French, literally "already seen", is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has been experienced in the past.

hello everyone, this is my first actual post (apart the intro one)...
first of all, i am very excited of this new electribe, it feels like going back to childhood and waiting for Santa :D
the old EMX had some glitches too when changing pattern, every groovebox has its little glitches and finding a way around them is part of the learning process. i am sure that the there is a way to avoid that little gap, for example, making "light" transition between patterns and avoiding long reverbs.
i am just speculating but that's part of the pre-release fun. :D

There are videos where a Korg salesmen mention october/november. Also, I have been told by an online music store that Korg told them the release to be in late october. Thomann seems to received a shipping date as well, the Electribe Sampler has been delayed, too. In a nutshell, Korg's release policy could be better.

You are right- it is indeed part of the fun. Maybe only the badly behaved amongst us will get the defective ones with the little gaps in when the presents are opened.

The anthem is banging with all drums blazing.... the loop has been mangled and muted to death- time to change it.. keep the crowd interested. Carefully one by one unmute the tracks.... slowly now... don't make it obvious. Time for a quick check- no delays/sustains left on accidenally... ok to proceed. Touch these pads very gingerly now so that nobody will notice...... There we are- perfect!- just a closed high hat tapping..... tick tick tick tick.. Don't forget to smile now- keep these shoulders bouncing- waggle those fingers in the air- make them think it's all part of the show.... Turn the dial 4........ 3........ 2 ... get ready to cough! 1.... Here we go! :)

I have no access to an EMX at the moment, so it would be great if somebody could tell me what happens when you have two patterns, and there is a pad with a long release time on Part 1. The sound is longer than the pattern. What happens, when the next pattern is loaded? Does the pad still sound or does it stopped?
