Saving real-time changes on Kronos?

Post by ricorox »

Anybody know if changes made to a sound with the Real-Time control knobs be saved with the sound? I know the Triton could save the changes made with the Performance Edit soft switches, but not the hardware knob changes.

I think they can be saved in program mode but not in combi mode. Generally speaking, using Tone Adjust for parameters you want to save is preferred.

Thanks Sander, I have owned the Kronos for only 3 weeks and it is DEEP! Plus, my first synth was a MicroMoog back in (wow) 1975, so I have been through a few learning curves. I am still at the point where I know what I want a setting to do, but it usually does nothing close to what I wanted it to do.

RTC controls can't be saved in any mode. Use tone control to change sounds, tone control changes are saved.

Qui, I could be wrong, but I think in program mode, if you have the filter page open, you can use knob one and two to edit cutoff and resonance and it will save, although the values on-screen won't update until after you've changed patches back and forth. I'll try this tomorrow, maybe I'm completely misremembering.
