Sometime my Pa3X Mode OS V. 1.63 Frozen at Style Record Mode,I can not change from Var1 to Var4 or any intros or Ending... Not sure why?

Is this a clean new complete style record or are you editing/recording an existing style?

I am editing/recording an existing style...and it frozen very constantly.

Do you know the origin of the style - it may have embedded MIDI data that is upsetting the process.

I've notified here 2 years ago that Pa3X from it's birthday has a serious hardware issue in style record mode
that never changed through all OS updates , especially in midi events editor when you use dial controller quickly , OS freezes !
This must be a hardware conflict between screen keyboard bus and value variations from dialer wheel ...
But also there is always a conflict in mute track via recording and sometimes an octave transpose of a style track
in record mode might temporary affect lower sound octave transposition that will disappear in next reboot !

So style developer experts get used to it as I did , since it seems that will never be overcome !

Exactly AntonySharmman...I hate this issue, especially when you rolled the Dial wheel faster...I have to save my work for each minor changes to avoid the lost...
it doesn't matter of what style you used in the record editing mode, it still frozen sometimes with no reasons.
I wonder if Korg can address this problem soon...

They have addressed it , (as recently addressed chord recognition with a "small intervention") , but as I said it's a hardware issue ,
I suppose you understand my point ... be patient for Pa4X

My OS freezing record on a 32 measurements DK track editing in events editor was 11 times OS freezing , and at last I edited that
in Nuendo DAW , before I use the 10 pounds hammer in my lab's drawer !

This is really a good thing, that everybody should get used to doing at all times! As long as the save is speedy, it's not that big a deal, and there are far more things that can go wrong than just an OS lockup! Power out, confusion about which samples you are working on or style Part, etc..

In a computer environment (and that's all an arranger is, isn't it?!) the standard is for rolling backups, and change logs, should you ever go down a dead end and need to roll back before the problems started. Saving after almost every change you like is simply a less automated way of doing the same thing.

You might think it's a PITA now, but one day it will save your butt!

in global adjustment press on square for change style
