Recording on the sequencer - clearing recordings of SW1 and

My lack of knowledge is causing me headaches.
While recording some tracks in sequencer mode, I used the SW2 button to control the attack. The tracks were brass sounds. Unfortunately when i re-record one of the tracks and try to use the SW2 button, it's on/off status changes back and forth from a previous recording. It's difficult to use the button for the new recording because of this. A couple questions:

1. Is it possible to have separate control of the SW1 button for separate tracks?
2. Is it possible to clear the recorded on/off status so that when i record it doesn't change on or off unless i press it?
3. Is it possible to record some tracks, say brass tracks, and record one if these tracks using the SW1 button to control the attack, then assign the recorded SW1 on's and off's positions to the other brass tracks, but not have those SW1 changes affect the sound of other tracks. [/list]
