Do I dare update to OS3 in the middle of a new gig?!
I'm quite excited to get my hands on the new OS3 but.....
If this were an OS update on your studio computer for instance, most advice would say don't do it while working on an important project.
I've just finished my programming on the Kronos for Panto (for non-UK forum members Panto is a peculiar British Christmas show tradition which can make for a few weeks of well paid work during December/January!)
So having done my initial programming of quite a lot of custom Programs/Combis/Setlist & starting band rehearsals on 1st December. If Korg release the update on say the 5th December, do I dare update then or wait for January after the shows finished...?

just wanted to say I'm enjoying the positive vibe/mood of these forums. Lots of interesting discussion without any of the negative posts/trolling that I've seen in some other forums (a car one I use particularly!)
As an example of the friendliness, after my previous post in this thread I received a PM from another member offering to test a PCG for me once they update their Kronos!

It's the effects from the EP-1, the EP-1 cabinet, and the amp and rotary from the revised CX-3. Fun stuff!timbukktwo wrote:Dan listed a few of the vintage effects of the 12 additional ones in the regular effects section. I would love to know the others; can't wait!

Oh, now then. CP70/80 and a CE-1 = Tony Banks Piano Sound (or one of them)!BillW wrote:Did I see a couple of effects in there that look like the MXR and CE-1?danatkorg wrote:It's the effects from the EP-1, the EP-1 cabinet, and the amp and rotary from the revised CX-3.
