Writing Single Touch Settings

Post by Paula M »

Hello! I recently purchased the PA600 and I've run into a bit of difficulty regarding single touch settings. When I have made all my changes to the keyboard tracks and go to the drop down menu at the top right of the screen, the 'write single touch setting' option is greyed out. My last instrument was the PA500 and I never had any trouble saving my STS's on that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :)

If is not active, looks like you try modify style in bank which is protected.
Check in global menu protection option, by default Factory Styles are protected.
STS setting is part of Style.
Pa600 has lot of banks, best way is clone style to user or favorite location (copy/paste option) and then modify,
Every time you turn on Pa600 will protect Factory resources, means every time you must unprotected then in order to have active Write single touch setting on Factory styles.

You can also use the SongBook.
In the SongBook you can have as many versions of a style as you like, without changing the original one.
You can add different STS's, change drumkits, tempo, track instruments, effects etcetera.

Really, the SongBook is the place to be to manage this.

Play in style. ;)
