Rolling screen when EMX2 on batteries, anyone else?
Just noticed that my EMX2 screen has bars rolling through the screen when powered off batteries. More noticeable when viewed from a slight angle.
Anyone else getting this? or have i just got either
A: a problem with my EMX2
B: a problem with my batteries (2300mAh energizer rechargeables)
Thanks!

Run mine off batteries all the time, screen seems steady for me. Adjust brightness/contrast?Buska wrote:Just noticed that my EMX2 screen has bars rolling through the screen when powered off batteries. More noticeable when viewed from a slight angle.

If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Mine does this (using Duracell). It's the power saving mode. If you switch power saving mode to 'off' it will go away (but your batteries will drain more quickly obviously). High pitched noise is also present in power saving mode.
*edit* - maybe this is due to not setting the correct battery type also?...

Strange, just double-checked this here and not seeing any rolling with Power Save on. Either with batteries or plugged in.
I wonder if this is somehow related to voltage, where are you from if you're seeing this?
Edit: In brighter light I can now BARELY see some of the scrolling on battery power with Power Save On, but it's really hard for me to notice. On the power supply, still not seeing this.
