Korg electribe 2: what version of Ableton?

Post by maxastuto »

With the korg Electribe 2 is provided with a card with the activation code software Ableton Live Lite 9 to download from the official site. Quetsa on board, however, there are signs to buy other versions of Ableton Live (the Standard and Suite) who obviously have more instruments, more effects a database with thousands of samples and loops in more ... also cost much more .
I would like to know if it is enough for the Korg Electribe version of Ableton Live Lite provided! Buy more complete versions is useless and will not ever exploited by korg Electribe 2? the difference between the various versions of Ableton consists precisely in having more:
tools (Electribe 2 is not a midi keyboard controller)
effects (Electribe 2 is not a machine for effects fx type the Kaossilator pad 3)
several Gb of sample loop (apparently the Electribe not load external samples as the twin Electribe sampler 2)
Should stop at the Ableton Live Lite version comes with the Electribe 2?

The biggest limitation is that Live Lite is limited to 8 tracks, where as you can use up to 16 on the Electribe.

Use Live Lite for a while, decide whether you like it.

If you like it a lot, upgrade to Standard.
