Korg Trinity slider cap
I recently bought a secondhand Korg Trinity from my local music store and I am thrilled with my purchase as I have always wanted a Trinity. Anyway the guy wrapped the Trinity in plastic bags which unfortunately developed holes while carrying it home. When I got home and unwrapped the black bags the grey value slider cap is missing. I tried going outside to see if I could find it on the road and pavement but no joy. The grey slider cap obviously fell off when I was carrying the synth back home and fell out the hole in the black plastic bag.
Do korg replacements still stock the slider caps for the Korg Trinity? Please advise.

AFAIK no spare parts are made any longer for the trinity. Korg may have a current synth slider cap that is identical. Coloring aside, a slider cap is pretty much universal; as long as the slider's main shaft is not bent or missing you can replace the cap.
There was a website called "parts is parts", or something similar, that carried small parts including knobs, caps, feet and other things that tend to go bad or fall off synths. Don't know if they're still operating under that name (and "doh" didn't check before posting).
Radio Shack (if you're in US) has parts for projects and will likely have a workable replacement cap.

Ok . Googled parts is parts and they came right up. Long list of korg parts. Look under slider for replacement caps; "slider caps" is a no result search.
Most korg knobs ~$5 US.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I am in the UK. I contacted Korg UK and they told me there may be a possibility in getting that slider cap from European sources and that they would email me the addresses. However I haven't heard back from them. The local music store where I bought the Trinity from told me if I don't have any luck getting the cap then they will try and help me.
I tried searching for the slider cap in the streets and roads again but finding it is like finding a needle in a haystack. The cleaners have obviously swept it up or someone has stood on it and kicked it away or its blown away by the wind.
I really wish my Trinity was packed in a box and that I had transport to ship it to me. Lesson learnt - I don't think I will ever carry a big synth all the back to my house again.

Cool idea there - just take a a lesson from King Tut's beard (*) and don't use any adhesive with an irreversible bond when you attach home made knobs. You might need to take your board apart at some future point.

(*) Repaired with off-the-shelf epoxy (Ack!?!?) by some low grade employee of the Cairo Museum so that the funereal mask -- the masterpiece of the collection -- would be there and so the tourists wouldn't complain. 5 minutes to dry and scrape off the excess.... no problem. Wanted to cry when I heard about that.
