Press the MEDIA button, then choose the "Save" tab (bottom left), then choose the Drop-down menu (top right), and choose "SAVE ALL (PCG & SEQ).,unless you only want to save one or the other of them.
I hope this helps.

Just wondering what will happen if I install this programs into my KORG M3. Will it work at all? If so, it will be awesome ;)

I don't think it will work. Here is a discussion on compatibility.

Best of Triton sounds and F bank

Post by tomvic »

Before loading the Triton set, you can back up your F bank to a media card for safe keeping. I believe you should do this frequently anyway to avoid accidentally losing your patch edits, but it's not required to load a few Triton sounds if your F bank is not completely full. You can put the Triton sounds on a media card and sample them from the card individually on the Krome without writing them to the F bank. When you find a few you like, load and save them individually to blank spaces in your F bank. There were no instructions for doing this, but it's worth a little navigating in the media menu if you don't want the entire set loaded.

If you keep opening up the PCG file til you get to the patches themselves, you can select and audition them from the SD card and only load the ones you prefer to specific empty bank F slots.

Opening the Triton PCG file until accessing the individual patches and then saving them in the F bank works GREAT! I wasn't aware that getting to that "layer" could be done. Thanks so much for sharing.

Me too! It's actually mentioned in the manual, but i found it by accident. It can act like an extra bank (or banks) without loading into the Krome, if you just need presets. Just tap on the screen when in 'media' and it sounds the patch. Even some of the 'combis' work, including 'user' knob settings.

You also can use PCG Tools for the Korg Krome to exchange programs/combis.

Sorry that I overlooked the most obvious, Michel--the PCG Tools Program that you provided for us.

Might be a silly question, I'm new to this, but can any korg patch work on a krome or does it have to be specifically for the krome?

TUTORIAL FILE PDF
Loading TRITON.PCG onto your Krome:
1. After downloading the .zip file from our website, it will need to be unzipped.
2. After unzipping the download, you will see a file in the newly created folder named TRITON.PCG. Copy the TRITON.PCG file onto your SD (max. 2 GB) or SDHC card (max. 32 GB).
 Note: SDXC cards are not supported.
3. Put the card into your Krome, and press the MEDIA button.
4. If you are not already on the “Load” tab, touch “Load” on the bottom of the screen.
5. Touch “TRITON.PCG” to highlight it, and then touch the “Load” button.
6. Verify that “Load TRITON.SNG too?” is not selected, and then touch “OK”.
7. The screen will briefly display, “Now writing into internal memory.” When this message disappears, loading has completed.
To access these sounds, press the PROG button, then press the BANK F button. The first sound you will see is “A000 Super Grand”. Note that these sounds will be retained even if you turn off your Krome’s power, so you do not need to repeat this process every time you turn on your Krome.
