I think this was posted elsewhere, but I thought it might add it here.

This time a hardware tip.

The E2's interface is layed out flat, not at an angle like some other grooveboxes. So when you're working with it on a desk your posture is bad, especially for a longer session.

This cheap IKEA laptop stand can upgrade your ergonomy:

I've tested it, you can hit the pads an it does stand still, does not wobble.
I'm also using it with Volcas and a Beatstep.

dude i WISH my electribe was flat... it's actually bent a tiny bit, whenever i put it on a flat surface it wobbles..... i thought it was the rubber feet so i added new ones and still did the same thing..... i could send it back.. but knowing there are zero electribes except mine and another person's available in montreal. i think i'll just learn to live with it.

Just out of curiosity what is your serial number? maybe we can trace this problem to an early production batch?

Mine wobbles a bit on a table, but it's mostly propped up in a stand. Shame though...
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

I've had a few bits of gear over the years that wobbled slightly at first. You can usually bend them back by putting the opposite corner legs on the edge of a table and bending it with your hands on the other corners gently until it no longer wobbles.

Usually when i try to bend things manually, the problem gets even worse.

Mine is pretty flat but in some tables there is a bit of wobble. Just use a bit of cloth fabric on one corner. Don't bend it! (Can hear the sound of cracking LCD...)

I remember my EMX 1 being wobbly, but my EMX2 is pretty flat ;-)

Especially since the electribe2 case is Zinc die cast...
Not sure it bends that well.
