samples from USB to internal!!!!!

Post by Mister088 »

For the love of KRONOS.
Could somebody please point me to a simple rundown /tutorial on how to take a few samples from a ksc file that I have on a USB drive and install them on to the internal drive so that they are always there!!

I see the samples on the USB I load them and then assign them inside the program but when I shut down they are all gone

I've tried to copy and paste but it's all greyed out..What am I doing wrong??

anyone?

I don't want to load the whole KSC file just four individual samples (soundfonts2)..I just want to have them permanently on the internal hard drive

thanks

You have to save them to your internal drive.

You have to load them first (select the clear option), then:

go to DISK
SAVE tab
pull down the menu
Choose Save Sample
Give them a name

Next time you turn on the kronos, select the file, click Append, and that should be it.

Unless I'm not clear on what you're asking.

first make sure you have everything back upped..

then load the samples from usb, and choose the option "clear all"

then save the samples to one of the internal disks (HDD or SSD)

then add e.g. the Userbank to the Auto load (together with your other samples), and they'll be automatically available next time you start up.

Just copying the samples from USB to SSD and than add as well to the autoload should also be possible though
