Who of you uses the half time trick to double the patterns length?
And... More importantly: what are the flaws if the technique? Whats impossible to do? The step sequencer could be tricky..

I've tried it. If the unit had the same flux mode as the Volca Keys it would be great, but you are locked to the steps of the sequencer so anything you want to put on even numbered steps can't be done. That's really the only downside I've found so far, you can change the sync to 1 step which gives a double speed pulse for cv out so you can sync your analog gear at the right tempo.
