I'm sure that most on this forum would agree with me that you are the one that pleases us with your skills on the Kronos.
So, it's us that should be flattered - to have you as a member.
I would think Korg UK and the others, will respond to your good work.

MC

Andrew for live playing I use "output 4" for clicks to drummer in the band. Sequence already starts with 2 bars of clicks in channel 10(drums channel), I midi loop that first bar of clicks (just a checkbox and easly reversible) and route ch10 to "output 4" instead of L/R. This way I have clicks instead of drums throughout the sequence. I can also send percussions and sound effects on "output 3" to clear some headroom for keyboard parts. And I mute the bass channel of course.andrewt wrote:Nice job! I saw it on facebook a few days ago.
Do you ever play this live with a band? I wonder what changes you would make.
As for keyboard parts I don't do so much different than the video. I can record automations of those switches like scene changes and sw1 because sometimes it is possible to forget pushing buttons especially if you drink so much

OK cool! So you would really have to have a click for the drummer if you sequence it. The band I'm playing in now doesn't use click tracks so I'd probably have to change a lot of things.slimhan wrote:Andrew for live playing I use "output 4" for clicks to drummer in the band. Well not necessarily but it sure comes with benefits. If your drummer plays to Kronos' click, you can use arpeggiators (karma or step lfo, etc), samples, drumtracks (for percussions), or RPPR in sequencer mode (percussions, brass sections), sequencer for repeating melodies etc...andrewt wrote: OK cool! For example in my Thriller setup if you play it without a click channel in a live situation:
-In chorus 2 and 3, you have to choose between brass section or synth melody. Or simplfy things to play all 3 parts together
-In the last part (5:15) three parts come on each other again: church organ, spooky synth and synth bass. You need to find a way to keep the synth bass going on while playing the melody with your left hand. ( You can use C#6 for bass for example..)
-Percussions will not be in sync with drummer, so no percussions.

speaking about bringing in percussions or the like when playing live, that's why I recently posted a new topic asking if it could be possible to tap tempo with the PEDAL pedal, since I'm already using the switch one for "program up". it seems impossible without a MIDI assignable pedal.
the reason for this would be to use it when your bands does NOT play to a click track, but you'd still like to use arpeggiators or the drum track, and you can match the song's tempo with the tap tempo function.
