Sounds fantastic, noticed the samples cut on pattern change towards the end but not as bad as the emx2

Audio demos are cool. But what we really need to see are video demos of the unit actually SAMPLING!

We know the sounds are great, that is a given. How it sequences and so on we already know.

I hope to see more video demos of actual live sampling of audio going through the audio in.

Yep for me the biggest issue with the ESX2 specs if the tiny sample memory. I mean seriously my MPC1000 is nearly a decade old and has 128mb of ram IE: 26.5 minutes sample time. The new ESX2 only has 270 seconds (IE: 4.5 minutes).

How can a decade old sampler have over 5 times the memory of a brand new one? Can we at least get a paid for memory expansion?

Yeah it's a bit if a joke, but won't hold me back from buying it. Most of the samplers I've used in the past had less (Akai s900, s612).
If you want to use long samples and loops than yeah this isn't a good buy unfortunately.

We still don't know if it's 270sec per pattern (if it reloads the samples at pattern change). If that's the case then I don't care about the 270sec limit, that's more than enough for a single pattern

Erm ... everybody can take a picture of an Electribe Sampler, use some loops and post it on YT? Who is Tom and why should I believe him?

That's kind of what I was thinking too, though I'll give the benefit of the doubt for now.

Also, the electribe is basically mono too, unless you manually pan things or use the stereo effects.

Well, his electribe 2 videos are also real, so I think this demo will be real as well.

Do you have facts proving the opposite? I am not saying that this clip cannot be a fake, but I do not see why anybody would upload fake videos, when he uploaded real videos before. Also, this loop does not sound like it couldn't be done with an electribe. It's not like that he uploaded something extraordinary, to promote the electribe sampler. Or why do you think would anybody upload fake electribe videos?

With the sampler you can sample stereo samples!

Yes, but stereo samples do not automatically sound different than mono samples. If you have a sample of a kick drum, its volume is usually equally loud on the left and the right. So if you make a track with stereo samples without any panning information, it sounds the same as the same track with mono samples.

the clip isn't fake. this guy does electribe demos for Korg. He did a bunch for the e2 and in fact some of his demos are included in the factory presets. that's also why he can't answer your questions, SMK.
