Saving PCGs; SNG on my PC (Korg T series)

Discussion relating to all other KORG synth related products that don’t have a dedicated section. For example, OASYS PCI, M1, N Series, 01W series, T series, and more…

Saving PCGs; SNG on my PC (Korg T series)

Post by 80salife »

Hi,

I have a lot of discs from my good old T3 EX,

Maybe in the future I will rebuy a T3... But I'm afraid, that I lost my old datas...

How can I save my good old sounds on my PC...

I've bought two different floppys with Double D, HD and so on...
But floppy can't read them...

Is there a mistake I made? Or I need a special floppy?

Questions and questions :-)
Love and peace to everyone :-)

1 t3ex dont do pcg they use the older method pcg came a lot later in the n series

the only way to do those file is to image them with omniflop in the pc

there are 2 types of format options on the t series with the ex

theres just all program data times 4 and and sequencer data

and there is pcm data and one bank of all data and combi data

as 1mb is used up for samples in korg pcm multisound format

i have imaged a lot of disks using omniflop and how i also share my pcm disks
