how to controll transport control via external mixer?

i have been trying all day to get the transport buttons of my roland vm3100pro to control the sequencer of the kross, it controllers n the fader n panning fine, but i cant seem to find what to input as far as CC or note to make the kross respond to the mixer
any help would be great

What Windows versión are you using?
The Roland RPC-1 drivers used for the VM3100 Pro works up to Windows XP. Higher versions don't work well with the VM3100 built in Midi interface.

i am currently stuck using ubuntu
but what i would like to do is control the kross's transport via mixer

everything else seems to work between them but i am just unsure what cc or what i need to tell the mixer to send the kross to control te transport
