I made my own KSC samples that i can autoload.
They load at start up as a KSC in global autoload.
Everything is working fine but i was wondering if i did this right.
All the factory preload KSC show much less ram size than the disk size, but my user multi sample KSC shows the ram and disk size are the same.
Many thanks to anyone that has info on this.

I suppose the reason for this is that you use the KSC-File in autoload and not the user bank which is also created when saving sampling data. In the KSC files, your samles are stored with the full size they reuquire in RAM. Using the user bank reduces the RAM space beause are then (patrially) streamed from disc. This is the method EXi and EXs use.
This is how far I beleive I understood this matter. As you can see in the question I posted a few minutes ago, I am not totally aware of how all this works either and hope to find more help here in the forum

Use the User Bank KSC file, and make sure that the Load Method is set to Virtual Memory.Greg_Latouche wrote:I suppose the reason for this is that you use the KSC-File in autoload and not the user bank which is also created when saving sampling data.
