I have a kronos X 61 key work station.Can i shift octaves to lower or higher . Thank you

There a few different ways. On the fly? See page 53 of the Parameter Guide. This entails using SW1 of SW2 to accomplish this. You can also transpose the initial pitch of a Program or Timbre in a Combination. Plenty of references in the Parameter Guide for that too. You can also transpose in half step increments up to +/- 2 octaves in Set List Mode. All depends on what you are trying to do. More information is needed. Page 1109 of the PG has a handy list of Controller Assignments- SW1/2 Assignments.
