Triton Taktile unacceptable low volume output

Hi, I just got the triton taktile 25 and the volume output is very low, the only way to get any decent signal into my motu is to crank the input trims, but then the noise is unbearable.

It looks like this may need to be returned if this is a design flaw.

Have you been using the headphone output to connect to the motu? What is a comfortable volume setting when listening through headphones?
