Korg Volca Keys x Alesis QX25 x Ableton Live Lite

Hi guys,

So I have a Korg Volca Keys. I'm thinking of picking up a second hand midi keyboard (Alesis QX25) and it comes with a version of Ableton Live Lite. I was wondering with the Midi In/Out connections would it be possible to use the Korg Volca Keys sounds through the Midi keyboard into Ableton, or do I need a soundcard for that?

Hey man. You can't send audio trough midi. You connect the keyboard to the volca keys trough midi, and audio out from volca to line in on your soundcard.

Conc. keyboard: I had the QX49 and sold it because it was very complicated to program. I do have now the Samson Graphite 25 which is approx. at the same price-point as the QX25 but in my opinion much more convenient...
