Distortion Sounds over any sound

I was playing out over the weekend and suddenly all I could hear or get from my Pa3X was distortion. I checked the cables and all was good. I thought it might be my amp but it was okay. Tried the keyboard through another amp and the noise was very prominent no matter what instrumental sound I tried. Help! Has anyone had this problem before? At few practices before the gig I noticed a low humming noise but thought it was because I was not using balanced cables. Even with balanced cables it was still there. Now this distortion sound occurred. The store which I bought the KORG from has closed down so I have to look for another authorized service tech unless someone can give me a solution to this problem. Luckily I had my Kronos2 and Hammond SK2 to fall back on to complete the gig. Still need the Pa3X for future outings coming up in a few weeks. I would appreciate any help or suggestions that will correct the problem. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about this - it is sounding like you will need to get it repaired.
I see you've tried a process of elimination already:-
Different cables
Different amp
Different power source

Do you get the same problem from the headphones socket?

I guess you could save everything and then perform a full reset but I really wouldn't hold out much hope.

Did you try using a different power cord? Perhaps the ground has become compromised on the main power cable?

Checking the headphone output for the same hum is very good advice too, if you haven't done that yet.
