Just point me in the right direction.
I have to cover this song for Saturday night. It's Survivor's, "High on You". Is the keyboard sound a DX7 sound or straight up analog synth?
It starts at the very beginning. Thanks.

I would say go to the "fast synth" category and start punching through the factory presets. When you find one that sounds close, write it as a favorite and keep going. Repeat the process. When you finish browse the favorites and pick from the results. You should be able to find something.
"To me the synthesizer was always a source of new sounds that musicians could use to expand the range of possibilities for making music."

Looks like he was playing the Dx7 in the video but he also played the Prophet 5 alot also. A synth with DX7 sound together should do the trick. Did not know the lead singer passed away last year. I remember them from the 80's very good band. Some FM keys sound should work.

I've done it too. I did it on my Prophet-10. The secret was the envelopes: they have to shut down fast, both on the amp and the filter, though the filter has to be faster. It's not really a sustaining sound. (Though it is, because of the bass.)
IIRC, I used kind of a twangy sawtooth wave and worked from there.
