Using MIDI Controller FC300 as a Sustain pedal also
Hi,
I am planning to buy a Roland FC300 MIDI Controller to controll my Korg Kronos and I would love to avoid using an extra Sustain pedal. My question: is there a possibility to use a pedal of the F300 MIDI Controller also as a sustain pedal? How can I adjust the Kronos to make that work?
Thanks for your answers

Hi, I use an FC300 with a Kronos and you can program it to do whatever you want! I use the FC300 with an external variable pedal and three foot switches, so that gives me 5 switches and 3 pedals in total (with the 5 front switches) selecting patches in program mode). Works a dream.
Simply program the FC300 so that one of its pedals is transmitting the MIDI CC for sustain (can't remember what it is right now) - the Kronos will be quite happy with that.
I am away on business right now, so no access to synths or documents to advise further, but repost when you get the FC300 and hopefully I will be back home to post some specifics
Cheers
