storing songs

Post by Mister088 »

Can anyone point me to where I can find out how to save my songs in one simple folder?
I have songs all over the place stored in my internal hard drive.. Problem is that within each song there are other songs!
I want to create a folder called "all my songs" and put each one in there so that I can easily see alphabetically all my songs.
Do I need to just copy all of them and paste then into this one folder?

Haven't tried yet, just checking to see if theres a simple common way that everyone does it.

thanks

Yes, copy and paste. I have a folder called Songs. I keep them all in there. The one problem is when you bundle several songs and then make an edit. To keep them separate you have to delete the unedited songs, move the edited one to the first song number and THEN save it as a single. (Or load the single version and make the same edit)

I have a song in my Songs folder called "current". Anytime I make a group of songs, like a set, I save it as "current".

Then, at the gig I just have to load "current" and go.
