Who's Up to Build an Electribe Sampler 2 Editor?

We know Korg won't do this. The guy who built the E2 editor has not plans on doing the same thing for the Sampler (I PM'd him already). Obviously we need this! In fact an editor librarian is more critical to the ES2 than even Korg understands.

So who's up for the challenge?

What do you need?

How can the forum members help?

How can we get a custom all in one self contained (no max or ableton needed) Electribe Sampler 2 Editor Librarian?

If Korg could add an Import All Samples from a selected directory on the SD card. That would be very useful to me.

There is good news on this front. I am not a coder but have worked out most of the file format (at least for samples) and have contacted coders who are interested in this project (and may not wish to be named).

Give it a little time and I think we'll have a really good solution for this; I keep hoping Korg will make a "Librarian"-style application but I agree that this is unlikely.

I can't code at all but would be VERY appreciative if someone was able to make a file editor like the one for the ESX-1.

I used to use that all the time.

Yea, we need this (i pm'd Xanadu too, but sigh.....) hope someone can make it, we would like to pay for it too.

It was actually Xanadu whom I spoke with first. He was not interested in doing so because it will be a long while before the ES2 will reach his region.
