Weighted hammer-action key

Post by rbeach »

I have played the PA3X for years; and a PA1x before that. I am spoiled on the action of a real piano, though. Is there a good weighted hammer-action midi controller that anyone would recommend for use with the PA3X? This next question is a long-shot...but would it be possible to replace the PA3X's keyboard with a weighted one?

Hi rbeach:

If you want the best master controller, look for Physis K4.- It's really the best, but it's price is too too too high (near US 2000).-
I'm using Oxygen 88, and works fine.- I suggest you to test it (these or others).- Discard Akai.- This controller although is very good have's only 2 zones or split.- Oxygen 88 have's 4 zones with overlaping each other, so you can control fine your pa3x (i use it with PA600 and i control each zone easy).-
Physis K4 control 8 zones, haves 8 midi outputs and 8 foot pedal inputs (really a beast controller but really true expensive).-
Hopping these could help you.
With regards. Eduardo
