Hey guys,
If I had a setup like this: Volca Sample(master)(sync out to keys) -> Volca Keys (sync out to sq1) -> SQ1 (midi out to microkorg keyboard).
I am assuming the tempo will be consistent throughout the chain with the bpm I set on the volca sample correct? I am also assuming pressing start on the Sample wont start the rest, even with Korg's syncKontrol app?
Are there also any midi setting changes I should have in mind or will they all just sync fine via the aux cable? Im also assuming the microkorg's clock should be set to ext.
Thanks guys!
Volca setup question with SQ1

As my "personal rule" I try to avoid daisy-chaining and prefer one central master clock sending clock to all other devices in parallel (for both midi-setup and Sync-setup).
In your suggested Setup you need to consider that VSample and SQ-1 have the possibility of clock-division which might cause some confusion...
Your assumption conc. Start is correct - there are ways which are already discussed in other threads to overcome this limitation. You can see one example in my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nofAdPGCLWo
I do not have a Microkorg so I can not say anything about its clock.
