I should add that I just learned that I could edit my original post in the main battle thread to include this poll. So in the future that should definitely be the way to go, instead of making a brand new post.

Haha! That's certainly not a bad thing. Especially with children...they're usually quite honest. One of my cats absolutely loves it when I churn out Dnb beats!

My wife has coined a new genre for my music. "That'sNiceDear"Step...
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

We have a winner! apapdop is the TITAN OF SMOOTH. Well done everyone!

I'm willing to set up the next sample battle either tomorrow or the day after. Then we can let it run for a month. Look out for that!

I've just finished my victory bounce on the sofa, stripped to the waist and in a sweaty-manbreast-style.

Many thanks to gizmo for setting this up, thanks to everybody who voted and big thanks to everybody who submitted tracks. It was fascinating to hear the different tracks, all from the same source material, it's a great workout for the creativity. Plus, having somebody hand you the samples instead of finding them yourself means you end up working with stuff that you wouldn't normally choose. Great fun and i hope more people join in for the next challenge.

What's that you say? My prize? My prize is a the new Electribe Sampler? Autographed by James Pullen himself? Why, that's very kind of you sir...

I've been pretty busy these days so I haven't been able to set up sample battle #2. If someone else wants to host it please go for it! Otherwise I'll try to start it up as soon as I can!
