switch keyboard split in combi on/off while playing

Hello !

Is it possible somehow to switch a keyboard split on/off in a combi while playing ?
For example when I'm playing with dx kind of epiano and want to add funky synth soloing , switch it on as a split when I need it, and then switch back off
when I need a full keyboard range again..
Anyone tried to achieve this ?

First idea comes to mind is to make two different combis and switch them in setlist.
You can achieve that with Karma timbre on/off (if you are not using any Karma other features) trick too (Timbre parameter->Wave SEQ/KARMA->Karma Timbre off Control).
0) Disengage any Karma modules from your timbre tracks (uncheck Run in KARMA->GE Setup/Key Zones and set all Karma modules output something other than any MIDI channel used by your timbres)
1)Set up full keyboard range in one or more timbres, set these KARMA timbre off contol "By off" - these will play when KARMA is off
2)Set up your split tracks in one or more timbres, set these KARMA timbre off control "by on" - these will play when KARMA is on.
Use karma on/off button to switch split/nonsplit mode.
