Hi guys,
several months ago, I bought an used Electribe EMX. Some buttons need a lot of pressure and the mute buttons does not work at all. As it is quite expensive for me to buy the "glue" which is needed for repairing the broken buttons (also, I am afraid to damage my EMX), I was wondering if it is possible to buy a midi controller which triggers the mute button externally. Does anybody know if that is possible?

In following document, search for "mute", "solo" and "note on" / "note off" to find the corresponding sections:

I doubt you find a hardware midi controller that does send these special commands, atleast not one that is cheaper than fixing the broken pads.

Just get a conductive ink pen and recoat the bottoms of the buttons. The conductive material wears down over time and stops triggering well
