I have always wondered. How exactly DO you sample on the Krome?

Theres two possible ways to load samples in krome.

First theres is the kromatool created by Cyph which is I believe the latest software is still about to be release.

Second there is the AWAVE STUDIO that convert the samples to .KSC then also download the KSTools to convert .KSC to SAMPLES.IMG META.IMG

These two are the files you need to load IN your KROME. The whole instructional video and the link to download AWAVE STUDIO & KSTools can be found here: https://youtu.be/7Cc5aWaSC6M

It is in a spanish but there is an english translation at the buttom. I hope this helps.

The video that you referenced was very helpful. However, there was supposed to be a link(s) listed for downloading AWAVE and KSTools.
Do you have the links?
Thanks.

Neither of these links are working. Have the sites gone offline?

The owner might remove the posted link. You might want to ask those dudes who successfully downloaded to send you the files. Unfortunately I already deleted those files. I found out that my korg m50 still rocks and sounded better in a live band setting than the krome.

Krome sound nice to me as a standalone gear but when played live with the band it wont cut. Korg m50 with korgman's sound set installed rocks. Strings, brass, organ and synth superb.

zyrous888: yes the links are still broken, but I disagree with you on the M50 is better. I've used both in a live band, I my sound eng likes the sounds of the Krome better. I traded in my M50 for a Krome. But there are some sounds I still like from the M50 over the Krome but I've overwrote them on my SD Card, bummer. I could use those M50 factory sound if anyone could get them to me. BTW we do Uptown Funk but without the samples. I tweaked on a few sounds for the instruments and we are blowing away other bands in the area.

AWave Studio is a paid program. I'm going to assume you shared a link to their site download section, because posting links to cracked/warezed software on here is not a good idea.

The A wave link was posted 3 months when it is still working. For whatever reason I don't know what happened to the link. I deleted my youtube video but someone is asking for the video so I re uploaded again. SanderXpander it is not also a good idea to comment fom a link posted 100 days ago. Outdated. That link was posted there because someone ask for it.
