Question regarding automation in korg Gadget

Post by heavyweight »

(automation killing the timbre)
i've made a timbre for one of the synths.
let's say in the main part (scene 2) the LFO has speed X and attack of the filter is Y.
in the intro(scene 1) I wanted 0(zero) for both LFO and attack, so i turned on automation and recorded both to have 0. after doing this i turned off automation.
when i played back scene 2, attack and LFO were also 0, even though i didn't record any automation for scene 2.
ok, i thought and tried to record some automation in scene 2 with LFO at speed X, but gadget didn't accept the automation because the was no difference. i twisted the lfo a little-to start the automation- and then held it constantly at X for a full cycle of scene 2 to get the right value. gadget recorded the little twist, but after the full cycle it deleted the automation.

my solution was to save the scene1 to file1 and the scene 2 to file 2, make my adjustments to each, export them to wav and join them in another program.

is there a way to do it in gadget?
