KARMA M3 Software - 2.2.11 Update (Mac/Windows)
New features, reliability enhancements and more!


July 4, 2015 - Karma-Lab has released an update to KARMA M3 Software for the Korg M3, adding several
new features:
  • The KDF file window now shows tiny "R" and "E" icons in the Program Banks, indicating whether they are
    Radias or EDS banks.
  • A new dialog with visual improvements for reporting the Program Bank Types has been implemented.
  • New "Copy/Swap Timbres in Combi" feature: easily organize, re-order and cleanup the timbres inside your combis.
  • New "Initialize Timbres in Combi" feature: easily initialize any timbre in an existing combi, or all of them at once.
  • Help File (both Online and PDF versions) and Tutorials fully revised and updated for 2.2.11.
  • many other reliability enhancements (view the full Release Notes here).

The Mac version continues to run on all versions of Mac OS X 10.4 and higher, PPC or Intel, while the Windows
version continues to run on XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and higher (32 and 64 bit).

Is there any video out there showing what the Karma software can do, especially for the M3? A quick search on Google just lists either using older versions of the software with the Yamaha Motif synths, or a demo of what Karma does on the Korg synth itself, not a demo/tutorial of the software focused on Korg!

Oh, I wish there were. How many times I've tried to get a video started, only to have to do other things - like update the software for every new OS that Microsoft and Apple come out with. Now there's Windows 10...

I'm afraid that the best available information is written. That means you have to read it. Sorry:

Basically, what the software does is provide you with editing capabilities of the KARMA features that go far beyond what you can see in the synth itself. Including the ability to modify the GEs, create new GEs and upload them, and visualize all of the inner parameters of KARMA that are hidden in the Korg unit itself.
