So I've search high and low with Google, on this forum and others, and cannot find an answer to this. I want to take beats I've made with the E2 and put the MIDI into a drum rack in Live, with each MIDI channel going to a different note. Similar to this but basically opposite. The best I can get is all drums playing on the same note, for example, every single drum sound turning into a kick.
Anybody know how to do this? Thanks.[/url]

I'm guessing here, as I don't use Ableton, but I imagine that you need to send a different note number to Ableton. The drums on the e2 always default to the same note, but on a different channel, so if you are leaning them as the default you may be sending every channel as a kick drum.

I don't use Ableton either, but check out trigger mode in the global settings.
Seq 1st option allows you to drop any note in on step one on your parts and have the electribe send that note instead of the default note when triggering a pad.
I've used this for controlling hardware and vsts and it has worked great.
