KP3+ buy one worth it??

do you think buying an kp3+ on these days still worth it?? im scared to get one and then a new one will be released or something i dont know i need some suggestions

The KP4 (or KP quad) has been out for a long time already. The KP3 is still a very cool product.

I was just thinking the same thing. My normal (much older) KP3 is starting to show signs of age. You know, things and features not working the same way you have expected.

I have contemplated replacing it with the newer KP3+. But damn that would suck if I got a new KP3+ then Korg rolls out a new KP that combines the features of the Kaoss Quad and the KP3 into a brand new KP4 or KP5.

I wish Korg would just come out and say either they have plans for a new proper Kaoss Pad Pro Effects and Phrase Sampler (not the mini toys) or admit that they are totally done with the brand.

I had the chance to use a kp3+ last weekend. The new effects are definitely great, but what I didn't like was that they changed the color of the sample banks (green/orange to two shades of green). The old scheme is easier to differentiate.

I think they will come something with touchscreen ala iPad, actually if they make a KP like dockingstation for iPad, the potential is limitless!
