import samples with loop information on e2s ?

Post by frankwhite »

i would like to import some samples with loop information in it (guitarsounds), when i open them in f.e soundforge the loop is set correctly at the end.

when i try to import the sample into the e2s, it acts like a oneshot.
when i turn the loop on, it loops the whole sample.

is there any trick to import with loopinformation ?

Edit: Might have been wrong.
No, you need to set the looppoint manually (or with the http://flosaic.com/e2sEdit/index.php).

When i export a sample from the e2s f.e. A rhodessound with loop at the end (to get release to the sound) to sd-card, and import it back maybe to da diffrent location , There is no issue with the loop.

I might have been wrong, sorry. Check this out: http://www.wavosaur.com/tutorials/how-to-make-loop.php. The software is free.
If you save the file, the loop points are stored in the .wav and are recognized in software samplers, sequencers, and other audio applications.

the samples i want to import have "sustainig Loop" information in it.
the samples are from an oldschool emu-rom board.

when i set ne normal looppoints to the sample, the electribe will reconise that.
what i need is a converter to convert loops with sustainig loop information to normal looppoints.

got a solution on my problem, e2s measures in "samples"
just open your wave file in a audio editor like soundforge.

change timeline to samples. it shows you start end endpoint in samples.
copy the values for the same sample to electribe start and endpoints.

there it is, a perfect looped sample.

ist a lot of work, but you get samples with perfekt loop and adjustable release !

have fun !
