Setup: e2s with the Novation Bass Station II for Synth/Leads

Hey guys, after having my e2s for some time now im thinking about to expand my hardware setup with the Bass Station II (using it for synth leads and more possiblities for playing more melodic/lead stuff and melodies)

Anyone who has both devices yet? What your thoughts about adding the Bass Station to my setup - or would you recommend it in general? think this could be the analogue device for me which is effordable/has a simple and good workflow for going on whith it.

I have both. I slave the ES2 to the BSII so i can record proper arpeggios into the ES2. You can control each part on the ES2 by switching the midi channel on the BSII. The BSII is also a great sounding synth and is small/light, so it was a perfect fit for my portable rig.

so the BSII will be my next hardware device ( :

shouldnt take that long until ill get me the BSII i think - or are there any other similar synth's (features/price range) i should check out first and compare them with the BSII?

It works well. You'll want some outboard FX for the BS2, maybe a Kaoss Pad. I'm using the crappy FX on my DDM4000 mixer here but it sounds alright.

Same opinion here, i have the E2, it makes an awesome match, i make more bass sequences and lead arpeggios and they are awesome together, i recomend. Drones on the BS2 are great to pair up with the E2 off beat effect, I have a lot of fun
