Sample Robot or Extreme Sample Converter
Hello All:
I love my Kronos, but there are some sounds from my Motif XS that I prefer. Specifically, the Oberheim sawtooths. (Sawteeth?)
Has anybody used the aforementioned programs or something like them to auto-sample hardware synths?
Or, would you just suggest I just plug the ol' Motif into the Kronos and sample three or so notes per octave?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Gord

I use esc and is the best imo. I havent tried samplyung hardware though you need to be able to isolate each layer and am not sure if esc would to it for you in real time hands free. I just thunk doing i on kronos would be crazy to trim starts, loop it, normalize one by one, to be sounds like a lot if work but if you a computer you save some hard sweat imo
ESC is only available for PC/Windows...unfortunatly.

Man even thogh esc is an abandineware its amazing as you can sample all your protected vsts from kontakt layer per layer with auto loop and normalizer!!! when you visit their page though it says version 4 coming up with more formats supported, but thats been advertised for for a long time and they dont even answer emails anymore. i guess unfortunately the company kaput?
Sorry but back to answering this post im really not sure if esc would do all this great atomated things from a hardware source :-(_
