I can't find anything in the instructions or online. I'm using a Volca Keys audio in and sync out to Volca, and then using the part on Electribe Sampler "Audio in Mono". It seems that the audio from the Volca is just going straight thru the Electribe without the ability to modify the sound parameters, is this correct?
Is there a way for me to send the audio thru the filters for that part or modulate them the same way as the on board samples? Otherwise, what is the point of having one part "wasted" on the audio in? The audio in still plays even if a part is not assigned to it.
Part Audio In: Is the part modifiable or just audio thru?

The global audio thru and the OSC Audio Input are two different things. If you want the signal to just pass through the unit unchanged, use the Audio Thru option. If you want to effect your incoming audio, turn off Thru and select the audio input OSC type. Make sure you turn up the OSC edit knob too if you can't hear anything, and set at least one trigger in the beginning of the pattern too.
Great, that all worked like a charm. So audio thru is only for recording samples I guess? Or, if you want the audio to go thru without any changes to the sound if you are syncing to the track, I guess?Tarekith wrote:The global audio thru and the OSC Audio Input are two different things. I often use the Audio Thru option as substitution for a mixer. It's great to combine external instruments (e. g. hardware synths or iPad apps) with the Electribe.squigges wrote:So audio thru is only for recording samples I guess?
