Did you try to unlock style element, in Global, General Controls, Lock, Style?

in Global, General Controls, Lock, Style>style element was locked. I turned it off. Now the Styles play as desired.

Press Global -> Mode Preferences -> Style Tab -> Chord Recognition -> Select fingering mode -> Press the 'My Setting' Button on the keyboard and Save. The chord Recognition mode should now remain in memory each time you switch on...
