more sampling time in Electribe Sampler

Post by neoureaux »

because there is only 270 seconds time for sampling, I think it's possible to time-stretch loops or samples and then with pitch tune 2-3 octaves down can resizing the loop at original lenght/speed.
there is that kind of "collection" for download with loops time-stretched?

I found only single cyrcle waveforms till now here:(http://www.adventurekid.se/akrt/wavefor ... waveforms/) and it's great. Have 100 synth tones in just 1 second sampling time. That means in 270 second there are a lot of synth tones.

I'll try to time-stretch loops and maybe if we are more doing that we'll have our own collection of different loops for ES.

Ive experimented extensively with this. When you pitch a sample more than one octave it introduces unwanted artifacts. It may be appropriate for some drums or drum loops, but much of the high end is removed when pitching down, so if you do this make sure you use eq to boost the high frequencies.
