I wanted to get one of these and noticed that most of the US based resellers had dropped this product even amazon ... do you hint a new updated version on NAMM or this is the end for quad.

id probably guess it's the end of the product. even though i have one and i think it's awesome, seems like it never really made a mark in the market. and i understand, the KP3 is superior in almost every way. had i been where i am right now shopping around for one, i would've picked the kp3 over the quad

What's enticing to me about the quad is having multiple effects at the same time and panning between them vs the KP3 one effect. What I don't like is the lack of BPM sync but that's not really a deal breaker for me.
What I'd really like is a KP4 that did all this stuff.
What I'm using now is the IFX and MFX in conjunction with a dedicated Audio In part on the Electribe2. It works well too. You can do some really interesting stuff with it.
